At Hidraqua, when it comes to treating drinking water, we take nature as our role model. We reproduce decantation, the same process that occurs in nature. We provide the water with air, which is what nature does in rivers: waterfalls and rapids oxygenate the water, thus combating organic pollution. We use the technique to settle materials suspended in the water. After that, we filter the water and disinfect it.

Decantation is one of the procedures used by Hidraqua. Based on the composition of the water reaching our treatment plants, we use the most suitable techniques in each case to ensure we meet the quality required by the health authorities.
